Let's Call You Back
Breast augmentation, sometimes referred to as a "breast aug" or "boob job" by patients, involves using breast implants or fat transfer to increase the size of your breasts. This procedure can also restore breast volume lost after weight reduction or pregnancy, achieve a more rounded breast shape or improve natural breast size asymmetry.
There are many variables to consider in breast augmentation surgery. Among these are implant size, material, shape, texture, placement and incision location. Prior to surgery, you and your surgeon will meet to discuss your goals, as well as the implant type and approach that will work best for meeting your particular goals.
Augmentation can also be done via breast fat transfer, in which we remove excess fat from one area (like the belly or thighs) via liposuction and then injects it into the breasts. In some cases, implants are paired with fat transfer, because the fat can help the implant sit more naturally.
